Job Summary WEX's People Analytics team supports HR's key priorities by providing data and analytics solutions including reporting, metrics, data analysis, and strategic research.
The team is seeking a HR Data & Analytics Intern, to join WEX through May 2024 and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and forward-thinking environment.
You will work closely with our HR partners, talent management team, and various leaders to drive data-informed decisions and enhance the overall employee experience.
Performance Objectives Assist in collecting, organizing, and reporting people-related data from various sources, such as HR systems, employee surveys, and performance reviews.
Participate in data cleaning, data visualization, as well as quality checks to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Collaborate with the HR team to identify key metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of HR initiatives and employee engagement.
Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to talent acquisition, employee retention, and workforce planning.
Assist in ad-hoc analysis and special projects such as predictive modeling as required to support strategic HR initiatives.

Qualifications Current enrollment in an undergraduate (rising junior or senior) or graduate degree program in Business Analytics, Organizational Science, Data Science, or another field with a quantitative focus.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
Some proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar is required.
Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, R, and Python is nice to have but not required.
Familiarity with statistical concepts and data analysis techniques.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings to non-technical audiences.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position.
Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package.
Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan.
Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
