Job DescriptionSeeking a BE/BC Neurosurgeon to join school of Medicine and department of Neurosurgery.
We continue to expand, and the demand for our services is high.
Three neurosurgeons are currently in the practice and they carry a full faculty appointment in the Department of Neurosurgery.
Rank will be commensurate with experience.
Hospital has served the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia, Eastern Ohio and parts of Pennsylvania longer than any other hospital in the state.
It is a Level 2 trauma center, has 247 beds, and the medical staff totals 230 primary care and specialty physicians.
Connected to the hospital are four medical office buildings where 80 physicians have their private offices.
Neuroscience Institute is expanding to include the clinical, research, and academic missions of Neurosurgery, Neurology, and Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry, among others.
The Institute will spearhead efforts to develop innovative solutions for West Virginians and those across the world with neurological and psychiatric conditions ranging from Alzheimer s to Parkinson s; autism to stroke; and paralysis to chronic pain, addictions, and traumatic brain injury.
