Summary:
The cashier position is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, operating the point of sale (POS) register and other related equipment/devices, suggestive selling, displaying outstanding product knowledge, replenishing merchandise on shelves and coolers and attending to various housekeeping mattersThe position is required to tend to the needs of the LVL gamers/patrons and overall Form W-2G complianceThe position is also responsible for adherence to loss prevention policies and all other company policy/store standards.TYPICAL SCHEDULE AND WORK LOCATION:
The position requires the Cashier to be able to work various shifts to meet the staffing needs of the assigned store(s)Schedules may be adjusted to accommodate employees work restrictionsDepending on the Store's and/or Company's staffing needs, employees may be required to work at other location(s) in the immediate area of the assigned storeThe hours scheduled to work is a function of the employees status with the Company and the needs of the store and CompanyFull-time status requires the employee to work 35 hours per weekPart-time status requires the employee to work less than 35 hours per week.MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or relevant work experienceKnowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, and grammarADDITIONAL

This position does not require any overnight travelDepending on the needs of the Company, some travel to other Geno's stores in the immediate area of the assigned store may be necessaryPRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Functions):
Reasonable accomodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions1.Responsible for providing each customer outstanding service by providing a customer friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid merchandise product knowledge and all other components of customer service2Responsible for the completion of all Point of Sale (POS) transactions for snack and beer sales, including the proper procedures to accept returned merchandise, void a sales transaction and the proper control of all cash and/or credit/debit receipts at the POS register and providing correct change to the customer according to company policies and procedures3Responsible for verifying acceptance of non-counterfeit money and if applicable, acceptance of credit card/debit cards while running the POS register in accordance with established policies and procedures4Responsible for validating LVL tickets and assisting patrons utilizing the cash kiosks, waiting/serving LVL patrons, cleaning of the LVL machines in accordance with appropriate guidelines and stocking/filling the self-serve coolers in the gameroom5Responsible for completing the IRS Form W-2G in accordance with Company guidelines and policies6Responsible for completing end of shift and/or end of day reporting and paperworkThis closing procedure to include balancing the cash drawer/till, preparing cash/coin for deposit7Responsible for replenishing (stocking) merchandise on shelves/coolers, participating in receiving merchandise, housekeeping, general maintenance and other shift duties as assigned8Responsible for communicating maintenance issues, incident reports, POS/other equipment issues, ATM, LVL Machines, and/or Cash Kiosk issues to their Lead or Store Manager in a timely manner and if necessay, commmuniate the problems/issues via submitting the appropriate form from Gumby's website9Responsible to assist LVL and/or IT technicians in troubleshooting error codes and other maintenance issues in the LVL machines, ATM's and Cash Kiosks10Responsible for accessing and communicating the cash levels on hand in ATM's and Cash Kiosks when requested11Responsible for wearing the appropriate Company uniform, if applicable and presenting an overall professional appearance in accordance with policies and procedures12Responsible for punching in and punching out of the time clock in accordance with company guidelines and policies13Adherence to all Company policies, procedures and practicesOTHER DUTIES &
