TITLE 32 - LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-0346-09 (2 POSITIONS)

This position is located in the S-4 section of Brigade/Group/Troop Command. The purpose of this position is to function as the Senior Logistics NCO of the organization responsible for oversight and execution of logistics plans, activities, and actions. As the subject matter expert for logistics, develops, implements and evaluates the logistic goals and priorities for the organization. Ensures compliance with the command supply discipline program, command maintenance discipline program, and other directed command inspection programs. Provides guidance and management for all decentralized logistic funds. Provides technical guidance and assistance to all organizational logistic personnel pertaining to the accountability of all property assigned to the organization. May be required to represent the National Guard and the unit Commander in the community. Performs other duties as assigned. Experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Must have at least 24 months experience, education, or training involving detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities). Experience integrating actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to meet program goals. Experience interpreting and applying regulations, laws or practices. Experience planning and organizing work assignments.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
